Just a short note to say a big “THANK YOU”. We returned safely on Sat morning after a wonderful holiday in Thailand.
From an organisational view, not a thing went astray! Every flight / transfer / hotel booking was excellent without issue.
From a recreational view, we had a fabulous time: shopping, swimming, eating, drinking (of course..) and then more shopping!
We had a bit of rain of the first two days but tropical rain only lasts a couple of hours....
Our boys certainly had their eyes opened to the strange and chaotic activities of Patong Beach! And the Diamond Cliff Resort was fantastic.
Thanks again and look forward to a ‘parents only’ trip late next year or 2014 to New York ( we’ve started saving already!)

I'm not sure how to thank you for organizing that trip. My family and I were so impressed with everything and honestly couldn't have had a better trip. The shark diving was absolutely unreal, Table Mountain was a breath of fresh air, the Rockwell couldn't have been a better fit, and Ishmail is nothing short of a champion (which by the way, we weren't able to leave him a tip, is there a way I can arrange this?). Please let me know if there is anything we can do to return the favor.

We had an amazing trip!
All the local guides were so helpful and knew so much about the history of China and its regions - one guide in particular stood out his name was Eric and he had a great sense of humour and taught us all how to sing Happy birthday in Chinese as there was 2 birthdays while we were away.
The bus, the food and the shopping were all wonderful and the Chinese were very welcoming to us all at every stop.
WUTAISHAN was our favorite stop, with the gorgeous mountains - but, a word of warning that you must be very fit to walk The Great Wall.
Hope you like the photo that I have attached we are dressed in traditional clothes and the Great Wall of China is behind us - these outfits were just over AUD$1!
It was a wonderful experience Louise - thankyou so much for your help with planning our trip.
We will look forward to planning our next adventure with you!

The weather was fabulous and the Warwick was superb.
We had no problems with checking in and all our transfers were trouble free, even if they were working on Fiji time!!!!
The Garden view room was perfect and as you advised us, was away from the pool and all the noise, so thanks again for your advice.
As this was our 2nd trip to Fiji and this time we wanted to get out and do things as well as enjoying the resort's facilities. We did a trip into Sigatoka for the usual souvenirs and had an awesome day doing the Sigatoka River Safari by jet boats. What a great day it was having lunch in a village up the river and spending the afternoon with the locals. We also met up with friends, who were staying at Naviti and did a Captain Cook Day Cruise on a tall ship to Tivua island, where we snorkelled, kayacked and had a magnificent lunch.

Thank you for organizing our terrific Thailand holiday. I have recommend you and holidays on sale to friends and family, planning their holiday.
I can also recommend 2 out of 3 of our accommodation that we had while overseas,
The Indra Bangkok needs some housekeeping and maintience it is a getting a bit shabby, and I probably would not stay there again. Air Asia were also terrific, and the Outrigger in Phuket was beautiful. All of our guides were very informative, and transfers between the airports and accommodation very easy. Chang Mai Plaza was also great and the location was one of the best in Chang Mai.

We had a fantastic timre at Lorde Howe Island - it was just like a dream - fantastic weather, excellent swimming and snorkelling and you beaut deep sea fishing - 17 large jew fish first trip out then 13 the next day - largest was 125cms and smallest 85cm. the kids had an absolute ball and got on so well as did the grandkids. Thank you so much for organising everything for us - all went smoothly and without a hitch.
First day back at school today - yuk so I'm already thinking about January 2012 - We read an article on Mauritus and it sounded great - so were wandering if you could please find out some details for us -- apparently it is near Seychelles but I don't know wether it is really worth going there.
Can you please find out some details for flights and accomodation us to Mauriitius ---probably 5 nights -6 days????

Laura and I had a wonderful holiday with many photos to look back on.
San Francisco was wet and windy most of the time during our stay but, that was part of the experience of the trip. We booked an Alcatraz tour that turned out to be a lovely sunny day. The harbor cruise was wonderful as well, especially cruising under the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing the other interesting sites. Laura and I would like to thank you again for organising this cruise for us, it was very thoughtful of you. The Hotel Frank was a great selection for accommodation, very clean, service was good and close to all activities and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when in San Francisco.
Las Vegas was great as always, it was actually chilly with snow on the mountain peaks. This was better than the last couple of times that we have been there in the middle of summer at 110 degrees. We enjoyed it very much with so much happening all the time with shows, walking the strip and of course the shopping outlets. The Luxor was comfortable and clean but I think it is due for refurbishment, this is the third time that we have stayed there now. Next time we go, we shall select another hotel.
Honolulu was very relaxing with lovely weather. We enjoyed the hike up to Diamond Head lookout and Pearl Harbor was very interesting and a must do! The Hyatt Regency was very comfortable and with the minor renovations in progress this wasn't a disruption at all. Our friends (Dave & Megan Pace) who we meet up with really enjoyed themselves as well.

Firstly thank you for the lovely postcard. We have been raving about you to anyone that will listen!!!!!!!!!!!
No really had the most awesome time. The hotel although out of town was MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We loved that it was away from the rat race but close enough to go into town whenever we wanted. We have already said we want to go back, yes today would be good actually hahaha. Kyan our 5 year old loved the pool and playground but mostly the pool. For kids it is just great, they can have a lot of independence so they think they are quite grown up. The staff were great, the room was fabulous. Need the same one or next door next time we go. The outlook from the bed was the beach palm trees then the pool just divine. My only concern was that our room would smell, as I asked if it was a non-smoking room, with which the girl said they have spray, when we got to the room, it was perfect not a smell, and I think it is because the floor is tiled therefore not residue smells from smoke perhaps. Anyway it was all wonderful, fantastic, beautiful we were soooooooooooooooooooo happy, couldn’t stop telling ourselves how divine it was.
So thank you so very much, we will definitely go again. Will let you know when and hopefully you can organise another perfect holiday! No pressure!

The Trip with Garuda was fantastic, the service was first class. The Harris in Kuta was great as you could walk everywhere and it was a stones throw from the beach.

Anne and I had a great trip and you did wonderfully with the booking. The Super Star Virgo was good with lots of entertainment, food and drinks. We only used $300 of our cabin credit – we needed to drink more.
The straights of Melaka and the South China Sea were both very smooth. No chance of getting sea sick, even for Anne who was very apprehensive about the boat.
I really enjoyed snorkelling at Redang and the Elephant ride in Phuket was good. Shopping in KL was harrying but fun. Singapore is still a great place for a bargain if you find the right place to go. We shopped at Lucky Plaza in Orchard Road and the merchants there were always willing to haggle. The check in lady at Qantas suggested we shop at Clarke Quay, when we got there we found it was mainly an eating and drinking area with very little shopping – oh well, that’s a lesson learnt.
The only down side to the trip was the Furama Riverfront. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there on the Saturday, we got single beds and both times we had to ask for milk for the coffee. The Furama is half way between the shopping district and the Singapore Cruise Centre and too far to walk to either. Given how cheap taxi and train fares are in Singapore, I suggest using a hotel at either the harbour or Orchard Road.
The booking process with holidaysonsale was fine. The only thing you could have explained better was the $500 cabin credit, when we got it and what we could use it for. This was the 1st time that I had used your company so I was a little apprehensive and some more emails regarding the reservation process would have made me more at ease.
I have no hesitation in recommending you or holidaysonsale to others and I look forward to booking my next overseas trip through you, possibly one in Europe including a Mediterranean Sea or European River cruise.

The overall experience was terrific.
We would highly commend the Amazara Quest and her crew – great cabins, restaurants, facilities, staff etc.
We simply indulged ourselves!
The proximity to Pirate Waters and the Athens demonstrations were very exciting.
There was a hiccup with the pick up from the ship in Athens. There was some confusion with both the time and place of collection for transfer to the hotel. We ended up waiting for two hours.
All the other transfers went smoothly, though, and we are grateful for their provision.
We would certainly deal again with you, your company and the cruise line.

We had the most wonderful time in Phuket. Gracelands resort was wonderful ---- close enough to walk to the action but far enough away , beach across the road -- gorgeous and of course the pools in the resort were lovely too. the breakies were out of this world / as were evening buffets , always different as well. rooms nice and service great --- absolutely no complaints , we'd certainly go there again. Airport transfers were fab as well / punctual and effecient and resort let us check out at 6pm for 7pm pick up on way home ---- wonderful.

We had an absolutely fantastic time - Scarlet included - and were very sorry to wave goodbye to new friends / kids we'd met there (in our private Sea Fiji water taxi - thanks again)
We'd used Flight Centre before and found them to be pretty terrible, so on the plane home my wife Nikki said "can we use "Holidays on Sale" to book ALL of our holidays from now on ??" which is high praise as she's tough to please !!
So thanks again - we really appreciate it - and thanks for the Travel Insurance too - which thankfully we didn't need !!

We had SUCH a lovely trip and I can't tell you how amazing it was to walk off the plane and straight into a private car - it's those little things that make a trip go from great to excellent! My friends were very envious (as they arrived the night before and it took them an hour and a half longer to get to the resort).

Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa - Natadola FIJI
We both had a wonderful time. It was very well organised and really enjoyed the Prague to Budapest coach tour - on the go the whole time but saw a hell of a lot and enjoyed the pace. Everything was included which was great and the hotels were very very good. Our tour director was really efficient and informative and he did a superb job. The cruise from Budapest to Bucherest was at a much slower pace and as you have to return to the ship each time you actually cover the same territory twice but having said that enjoyed the week on the ship - food and cabin extremely good. The overland trip into Turkey was good but a lot of bus travel from morning to mid-afternoon night without any stops (except for a lunch break) and not interesting landscapes - once in Turkey it was good and again the tour director was very informative and again the hotels were really good. Enjoyed Istanbul and could have had a day longer (we stayed at the Intecontinental and it was $ 600 a night) but crammed all the site seeing in that would fit. It was a great 5 weeks away and now saving up for the next adventure.

The people are fantastic, friendly and always willing to help. This is not only refereeing to the irriki staff but generally wherever we went around Port Villa, everyone was terrific. I note that this is not only towards tourists but even amongst themselves they were always cheerful.
I was also pleased to see that there did not appear to be any young obnoxious Australians around (happily they all go to bali)
The snorkelling was fantastic – I would recommend a day trip to Hideaway island – but don’t need to book a ‘tour’. We just hopped on a local bus (cost 300vatu) and they take you there. The island then only costs 1000vt for the day.
Better bringing your own snorkel to avoid having to hire them.
Other great day was the Congoola trip – it’s relatively expensive but you get to see a fair bit of the island by bus before taking a boat trip to a separate island.
We did a half day canoe trip (shark and turtle feeding following by 2 hour canoe) – not really worth the money (the sharks and turtles and in a pen – you see better at SeaWorld!)
Hire a scooter for a day, take a picnic (stock up from the fresh food market on the main road – or go to the ‘Le Bon Marche’ up the road which has all the supermarket food you could want – including French wines you don’t even find here!) and just drive.
We only restauranted 3 evenings (the ‘Melanesian feast’ at iririki was a little disappointing unless you like Melanesian food – sweet potatoes etc) but restaurants are quite expensive and I reckon you get better (and much cheaper) at the hot food tables at the fresh food market which is where the locals eat (open 24hours a day! Monday 6:am – Sat lunchtime)
The Cultural centre is worth a visit
Avoid the taxis – take the buses
The weather was great although we got very lucky. The people before us had a whole week of non stop rain and wind.
Everyone speaks English to some degree
Things we didn’t like…
Unfortunate there is a lot of litter on the streets. It may be that I am too used to ‘sanitised Canberra’.
Iririki was nice and neat, breakfasts very good. If I had to do it again, I would probably go for a waterfront fare again but not one that faces port vila as it is quite noisy.

I’d like to say that I’m happy to be home but I’m not. Bali was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first thing Mark says to me every morning is “I’m sorry that we’ve not been to Bali sooner”. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. No-one got Bali belly and I was having cocktails with ice in it everywhere!
We took Collodial Silver over with us. Our naturopath said to take 10 mls straight morn and night and put some in our water bottles as well to sip throughout the day. If we felt a bit of a tummy upset we had to take 200mls straight, drink 500mls of water and then lay down for ½ hour and all would be good.
The boys had a ball. The hotel was fantastic – although some of the tiles etc need fixing and they could use a little help with learning how to clean things a bit better. But we’d definitely stay at the Jayakata again! The staff were really friendly and being right on the beach we could send the kids down there and look at them from the comfort of the hotel lie lows. The guys at the beach kept an eye out for the boys for us – they made friends with a couple of the guys running the drinks bar down the beach
Flights were really good as well. Would recommend Pacific Blue to people as well.
Will be keeping our eye out for cheap flights through them and Air Asia to go back there next year some time and then will contact you regarding accommodation – unless you get some great deals come through and then we’ll book everything from you.

The trip was excellent!!! The people, service and facilities at Aquamarine resort were great and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the hotel. We really enjoyed Phuket as well, nice shopping and activities all around the island.
Although the first part of the trip was great, Bangkok was really disappointing. It is a very polluted and dirty city full of people trying to scheme you to make you go to certain shops or charging you excessive amount of money for services which the prices were previously agreed on.
The hotel seemed old and there was an unpleasant odour in the hotel as well as in the room. It was also located in the chinatown area and we could not find any restaurants/shopping centres nearby.
Luckily we only spend 2 days in Bangkok, I am glad now to know what it looks like but even though the shopping was great, I do not think that I will go back.
I will keep a formidable souvenir of Phuket and the week we spent there.

Aquamarine Resort - Phuket
The hotel was great, even though a little away from the airport, we did not arrive there until 10.00pm but they were great and fed us and we had a few drinks before retiring for the night. The location was ideal on the Coral Coast and the staff so genuinely friendly and welcoming-every one of them with a big smile and a warm “Bula”.
The following day we had an orientation of the resort and after a great breakfast decided upon the order of activities, tours etc for the week. Some golf, fishing, snorkelling and relaxing by the pool.
Yes we have a lot of photos and videos and need now the time to transfer them to disc and the computer.
All in all a great holiday with some wonderful memories- “Vinaka” (thank you) very much for all your help in making it happen.

We had a lovely time on Lord Howe Island. It met our expectations in every way.
Lorhiti was as per brochure, clean, beautiful garden setting, well furnished with plenty of kitchen equipment etc.
The hill up from the main town got us fit by the end of the week, so not the place for some one less mobile, but the proximity to Ned's Beach was great.
We fed the fish and swam in the bay. It was lovely if not a little chilly in the water.
I reckon another month and it would have been perfect.
Robert got to try out his new camera so once we have downloaded the shots will send you one or two. Humpty Micks Cafe in the main street was a great place to eat and we ate there most days. Top Shop has the freshest food for self catering, of course being an island it is pricey but we knew that so we didn't care.
We walked, played cards, read, walked some more and slept. It was good.

Lord Howe Island was fantastic. A wonderful place for families with beautiful beaches, wonderful snorkelling and great fishing for some of the grown ups. Our apartment at Somerset was great – an easy walk or bike ride to most of the beaches and restaurants.

Both Peter and I thoroughly enjoyed our Lord Howe Island experience but I don't think Peter will be climbing Mount Gower again! Our accommodation was great at Beachcomber and we thank you for your part in making our holiday perfect.
